Get ready for a smoky, sun-soaked afternoon at the Palmas Backyard BBQ Championship on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Wyndham Palmas Beach & Golf Boutique Resort.
Spend the afternoon lounging poolside, cooling off in the water, and enjoying delicious BBQ flavors while live entertainment by Joe Weins and DJ beats set the vibe. Throughout the event, five amateur “chefs” from the community will compete in a friendly backyard rib competition happening in the background as guests relax and enjoy the festivities.
Guests will enjoy BBQ bites prepared by Chef Daniel Lugo and the Wyndham Palmas culinary team, along with a selection of beers included with each ticket. The competition will be judged by Chef Daniel Lugo, Wyndham Palmas General Manager Carlo Chavez, and the resort team, who will crown one competitor the Palmas Backyard BBQ Champion.
